What a school hires him to do
Three areas of practice
Transforming Instruction
Liberatory mathematics, critical literacy, and culturally responsive learning. Task design, cognitive demand, and instruction that treats students' communities as context rather than decoration.
Instructional Design Coaching
Developing educators and leaders. Coaching cycles, PLC facilitation around rigor and alignment, and preparing teacher-leaders for the step into administration.
Conferences, Panels, Papers
Keynotes, panels, and workshops on what we ask of Black students, designing for cognitive demand, and academic recovery that is not remediation.
